Many non-essential retail businesses will be reopening their doors from Monday 15 June – and Enterprise East Cambs has published an online guide to help shoppers plan their trips.
The guide offers general information about how to shop safely, as well as details of which businesses will be reopening in Ely, Littleport and Soham along with their opening hours, contact details, how many people are allowed in at once, and whether contactless payment is available.

Do you think that non essential traffic will be banned from Ely town centre? When you walk down the high street from the cathedral people are unable to socially distance from each other.
No, there are no plans for that, even as a temporary measure. The District Council has put forward proposals for temporary road schemes in Ely and elsewhere which will be considered by the County Council at its Highways & Transport meeting on Tuesday morning – further blog post coming up today!
