Under the new COVID regulations Cambridgeshire County Council’s library service can no longer allow customers to come into libraries to browse and select their own books. The service will therefore be reverting to the arrangements offered over the summer lockdown.

The library service will not be charging for reservations and overdues.

Good afternoon, Rose. The Head of Libraries replies: “We are not offering jigsaw loans during the pandemic period for reasons of health and safety. They have never formed part of the formal lending offer i.e. we don’t buy them but I’m aware they have become part of an informal offer to customers at a few libraries where jigsaws have been donated.”
